All these beautiful icon prints in this category are from Russia. Most are simply bedazzling with their stunning colors and metallic lusters. Some are intentionally printed on matt surface to evoke the solemnity and sacred reverence of the original works. My limited digital dexterity doesn’t nearly do any justice in trying to photograph their enlightening appeal. What I’m saying here is that please expect to receive something more beautiful than you see on these pictures.

The prints are mounted on wood to create the effect of an original icon. In some cases pressed wood product is used, and when so, it’s mentioned in the description.  The pictures are copies of ancient sacred icons. And with the right attitude of worship and reverence, they are believed to evoke the healing Spirit of their original versions.

Most of these are desktop icons meant to be near the owner for continued purification, peace, protection and reflection. In your car, in your purse, in your pocket, on your desk, on your table, on your night stand, by your pillow,  wherever you are...wherever Saints are needed.... that’s where they serve you. I don’t know about you...but as for me...I need more Saints than humans...so I like to have these icons around to remind me of that....

These icon prints are also suitable for wall hanging if that’s what you prefer. You just need to put a hanger on the back. Available for pennies at any hardware store.  It’s easy to do, no experience  necessary. If I can do it, anyone can.
