General Information About the Retreats

Location of Retreats

All Retreats are held in Havre de Grace, Maryland. It is a small historic Victorian town located right where the Chesapeake Bay and Susquehanna River meet. The town has plenty of Bread and Breakfasts and good restaurants, and has a board walk built over the shore that lets you walk on the water.

If traveling by car, Havre de Grace is off exit 89 on Interstate 95, about  three hours  South of New York city, one and half hours South of Philadelphia, one and half  hours  North of Washington, DC and 45  minutes north of Baltimore past the Ft. McHenry Tunnel.  If traveling by air, you can either fly into Philadelphia or Baltimore. Both airports have public transportations that take you to the train station.  You will take the train to Aberdeen, Maryland. Aberdeen is only 3 miles from Havre de Grace.  I can pick you up at the Aberdeen station, on an as available basis. Or you can take a cab. Detailed information on all this will follow once you register.

Registration, Cancellation, Refunds

To enable personal space and attention, maximum attendance is limited to 15 per retreat. If seriously interested, you are encouraged to sign up as soon as you are sure you want to do this as retreates may fill up quickly.

Full payment is due upon registration. You are not registered unless you pay. Space will not be held without payment. In case of cancellation you will be issued a Retreat Credit. This means that you may use your credit to sign up for another date or retreat.   Conditions: You must contact me first with your cancellation before registering for a substitute program.  You may only cancel once to qualify for a Retreat Credit. If you cancel your second registration again, your money is lost. You must sign up for a substitute program within 4 weeks of your cancellation. Unless it’s an emergency, you must cancel before 10 business days prior to the beginning of the retreat. Cancellations due to last minute emergencies will be addressed on an individual basis. They will be treated with the highest level of accommodation, but only upon objective proof of their happening. Taking your words for it alone will not suffice.

Accommodations

The registration fee covers only the retreat and does not include and food or accommodations.

REGARDING FOOD: I have the following free condiments on a free to help yourself basis: Coffee, tea and spring water, donuts and bagels in the morning, and stuff to fix yourself a sandwich for lunch. No food or drinks are allowed in any of the meeting rooms, as they are the sacred spaces of my Healing Temple of Living Light. The area designated for food and drinks is a very small, no frills space.  You may need to take turns to use it in small groups.  Plenty of restaurants just minutes away for those in need of higher class treatment. Or you may also bring your own food supply.

REGARDING  LODGING:  Tons of Bed and Breakfasts here, starting as close to my place as a hundred yards, and continuing on endlessly, all within a few short blocks. Please go to www.hdgtourism.com to get all information you want. The Spencer Silver Mansion is next to me.  Par Excellence and Vandiver Inn are a block away and La Cle D’or Guesthouse is two blocks away from me. Super 8 is a short cab drive away. You don’t want any of the “Hotels Near- By” advertised on the web, as they are not nearby.

Waiver of all Guarantee, Responsibility, Liability

None of my Retreats come with any guarantee of satisfaction.  I also wave all responsibility for any undesirable experience that you may claim to have retained as a result of attendance.  I can only guarantee where I am at in life, but I can’t possibly guarantee where you are at. If you decide you don’t like it, the door is always open and you may walk out any time. But no refund or compensation of any kind will be given. For you to attend any of my retreats and programs, you will be asked to sign a form stating your understanding of and agreement with this waiver at the beginning of the program. Please do not sign up unless you are in agreement with this.
