Welcome to my World in Light. May you and I never lose sight of our soul's mission…. the building of heaven on earth. Please join me in learning and playing…. and you will join me in Being and Healing.

Please allow me to introduce myself here briefly, and let my website tell the rest. My personal story is not nearly as important as the story of you and I that we may potentially begin here and now, starting to walk together on the same path, searching for the same light.

On a personal note…..

I was born in Austria, raised in Hungary and spent eight years in the Netherlands before permanently moving to the U.S. in 1975. I have been educated in both worlds….. my existential repertoire entails a unique combination of old world wisdom and new world vision.

As a dweller of both worlds, I walk with one foot in heaven and one foot on earth. I dwell where others only dream to venture. I am here to help all to wake up from our collective nightmare and transform our present world of the living dead, into the world of the Living Light.

I have two beautiful children, Virginia and Owen. They are both highly advanced souls here to show us how amazing life could be for all of us. Both are "ready made" artists…their art is the spontaneous outflow of their being…..

I'm utilizing Virginia's paintings and sculptures to add beauty to the site and to beautify the eyes of men…And I will be utilizing Owen's songs to bring music to the sight and harmony to the hearts of men …...

On a professional note…….

I am a Registered Nurse, Holistic Practitioner, Interfaith Minister and Registered Hypnotherapist. As a prolific, intuitive writer, healer, teacher, speaker and lecturer, my life mission is to integrate soul, medicine, miracles and healing. I hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, a BS degree in Health Care Arts and Psychology, and an alternative, professional, doctorate designation as a Holistic Practitioner.

I am the President and Founder of World in Light, A World Healing Ministry, integrating the following organizations, institutions and agencies of change:

I have been a Registered Nurse since 1985 and hold active licenses to practice in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. I am a certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, specializing in psychiatric and chemical dependency nursing.

I have 13 years of clinical experience in psychiatric and chemical dependency nursing in the nation's leading hospitals, including Sheppard Pratt Health System in Baltimore, Maryland, and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, also in Baltimore Maryland. To support myself and build my life mission, I am presently working in a Philadelphia Crisis Response Center, managing all phases of crisis nursing for clients with psychiatric and chemical dependency emergencies.

My experience in Alternative Medicine and community teaching includes, but is not limited to, the following:

From 1997 through 1999 I was President and Founder of the Association of Alternative Healing Arts (AAHA), Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was a holistic health center offering educational programs, consultations and publications in alternative medicine for health care professionals and the community.

In addition to my administrator functions, I served as a counselor, teacher, speaker, lecturer, writer and publisher for the organization. Among others, I served as an instructor at Harford Community College and Howard Community College, both in Maryland, offering basic and advanced community education courses in alternative medicine.

What is the World in Light?

The "World in Light" is a trinity
of body, mind, and spirit.
It is a place to gather, a way to bring healing,
a path toward God.

Grace Spiritual Community is the body, a group of people who care to join together for the highest good of all. The Grace Spiritual Community is a real place with the potential to grow bounded only by the imagination of its members. There is room for organic gardens, clear flowing water, care share for young and old. There are places for prayer and places for song, places to work and places to play. There is privacy and community. And God dwells within all of those places.

The School of Light Body Medicine is the mind, an organized system of education in energy healing based on the concept of the God Gene, inspired by its founder, Rev. Magdalena Light. Students and graduates of the School of Light Body Medicine know that all healing is soul healing. They learn to clear their thoughts of human chatter so that higher wisdom may be heard clearly. They seek to serve the soul's mission and the highest good of others when using the various tools of energy healing.

The Healing Temple of Living Light is the spirit of the World in Light. The Healing Temple is a place for worship, a place to be in gratitude. In humble prayer we understand our mission is not to generate light, but to dissolve the darkness. We seek to be as close to God as is humanly possible, and we ask for wisdom to discern the dark from the light in ourselves and in others. We understand we are one with God and with each other. We acknowledge one unifying Being and we believe each of us comes to know truth in an individual and very personal way. The Healing Temple of Living Light is a path toward God.

Sherry Corbin is a registered nurse, retired after 34 years as professor of nursing. She is author of the computer tutorials, "Patient Encounters in Medical Surgical Nursing", published by J.B. Lippincott, and "Curriculum Manager" published by HealthCare Productions. Sherry is a Gendai Reiki IV Master, creator of "Light Notes", Tai Chi Chih student, and author of her web pages, RainLight.com and GracefulSpirit.org. She resides in Maine with her husband Chet and faithful pets Timber, Tempe, Dazy, and Shadow.
